The AU-niverse is just what it sounds like, an alternative universe in space. It's a place where you can take characters from a variety of canons, some that you might already play in other games, and others you have wanted to play, and place them in a new environment to explore them deeper. You get to re-write their history to fit this new world, while still playing them as the characters everyone has come to know and love.
